Rosetta and the Unicorn is a children’s story I wrote about the friendship of a Earth fairy and a Unicorn. I used my own drawing and watercolor art for this project.
Young Adult Book Cover Designs
My passion for young adult (YA) fiction ignited during the late 2000s and early 2010s, a golden age for paranormal romance and dystopian sci-fi within the genre. That era’s explosion of creativity profoundly influenced my artistic vision. Below, you’ll find a collection of conceptual book covers I designed, each aiming to capture the essence and excitement that makes YA fiction so compelling.
Crystaralight Chronicles
This five book series of cover was rendered in Adobe Photoshop with scanned in drawings, personal photography, and some digital painting. The Crystaralight Chronicles was a Young Adult fantasy book series I was planning to write. Breathless is a work-in-progress. It’s about a sixteen-year-old girl living in Chicagoland who finds out she a princess from the world called Crystaralight and has to track down other princess from her world and its seven moons.
Red Water
The Red Water book cover is photo I took at Porcupine Mountains State Park with slight color modification and a simple reflective typographic effect. The author quote is fake of course since this book is only a concept. This horror book’s premise is that dead bodies are washing up on the shores of Lake Superior, and some supernatural creature may be the killer.
The After Society
The After Society is a young adult dystopian series about 5 teens, each with a genetically enhance power, surviving is a world of zombies created by a alien bacteria from a meteor.
